The musician,

All playbacks that you can order in our shop were recorded by Bernhard Kämmerling.
He grew up in a family of musicians and received his first piano lesson at the age of five and studied Musical education and jazz-piano at the Folkwang- Hochschule in Essen.
He was awarded with the prize for cultural promotion fo the Rheinisch-Bergischen Kreises in 1989.
Besides his numerous performances as a popular artist for jazz and pop, he was also able to gain experience from several stage productions. (for example: Das Feuerwerk an der Deutschen Oper am Rhein und Joseph, Musical der Stella AG im Colosseum, Essen).
Vocal support has always been something he is passionate about ever since studying it and is expressed in his music as well as educational practice. He has managed and supported over 30 singing workshops togetehr with an singer.
Bernd Kämmerling has been teaching jazz since the winter semester 2003/04 at the Folkwang- Hochschule.

It all started with a vision:

Bernd Kämmerling is a popular pianist at concerts of professional singers, at vocal workshops and vocalist class auditions. Again and again it was requested to also have these pieces on CD. This is how the idea of Pianoplaybacks, was born in 2005, where only the piano, without drums or synthese sounds, was recorded with a lot of care.
It took two more years until the idea became a reality.
At the beginning of 2008, a very fruitful collaboration with the computer expert Werner Gerard blossomed and from there on, it all happened very quickly. The settling of the legal aspects, solving technical problems and of course the recording of the playbacks lasted a while.
But then, the big moment was there:Pianoplaybacks.com was ready, even though our selection was not very large at the moment. Many additions were and are still added, also due to requests of our customers.
